Description
This refreshing peach smoothie blends ripe peaches, creamy coconut yogurt, and almond milk for a naturally sweet, dairy-free summer drink.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut yogurt
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A handful of ice cubes (if using fresh peaches)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds for added nutrition
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
If using fresh peaches, peel and chop them into chunks. Frozen peaches are great too — they’ll keep the smoothie cold and creamy without needing ice.
Step 2: Add to Blender
Place the chopped peaches, coconut yogurt, almond milk, agave or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and ice cubes (only if using fresh peaches) into a high-speed blender. If you’re adding chia or flaxseeds, toss them in now too.
Step 3: Blend Smooth
Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. This should take about 30-60 seconds, depending on your blender. Pause to scrape down the sides if needed to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
Step 4: Taste and Adjust
Taste the smoothie and add a touch more agave or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter. Blend again briefly to mix.
Step 5: Serve Fresh
Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. For a pretty finish, garnish with a slice of peach or sprinkle of chia seeds.
Notes
The coconut yogurt gives it that extra creaminess and subtle tropical flavor.
Ice is only needed if using fresh peaches; skip it for frozen fruit.
