Description

Cheesy spinach dip wrapped in crispy wonton wrappers and baked to golden perfection—these easy, savory crisps are perfect for parties or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1⁄2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1⁄2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

Prep the Oven and Filling

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine:

1 cup thawed and well-drained frozen spinach

1⁄2 cup softened cream cheese

1⁄2 cup shredded mozzarella

1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan

1 minced garlic clove

1⁄4 tsp salt

1⁄4 tsp black pepper

1⁄4 tsp red pepper flakes (if using)

Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.

Fill the Wonton Wrappers

Lay the wonton wrappers on a clean, flat surface.

Place a small spoonful of filling (about 1 teaspoon) in the center of each wrapper.

Fold each wrapper in half diagonally to create a triangle, pressing along the edges to seal.

Optionally, you can fold into a square pouch or use water to moisten and seal edges better.

Bake

Arrange the filled wontons on the prepared baking sheet.

Lightly brush or spray each crisp with cooking spray or olive oil to promote even browning.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.

Remove and let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use fresh spinach: Just sauté briefly and let cool before adding to filling.

For a richer version, add a spoon of sour cream to the filling.

Brush crisps lightly—not too much oil, or they won’t crisp properly.

These are best served fresh—crispy and warm from the oven.
