Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies

  • Author: Emily
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 large or 3 medium slushies 1x

Description

Colorful pineapple strawberry swirled slushies—layered, fruity, and perfect for cooling off on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale

Pineapple Slush

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup pineapple juice or water
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Strawberry Slush

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry juice or water
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pineapple Slush

  • In a blender, combine frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice (or water), and honey if using.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is thick, icy, and smooth.
  • If the texture is too thick to blend, add an extra splash of juice or water.
  • Pour the pineapple slush into a bowl or container and place it in the freezer while you prepare the next layer to keep it firm.

Prepare the Strawberry Slush

  • Rinse or wipe out the blender.
  • Add frozen strawberries, strawberry juice (or water), and honey (if using) to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth and thick, adding a little extra liquid if needed to reach the right consistency.

Assemble the Swirled Slushies

  • Grab tall glasses or clear tumblers.
  • Spoon alternating layers of the pineapple and strawberry slush into each glass. Start with 1–2 tablespoons of one flavor, then layer with the other, repeating until the glass is full.
  • Once layered, use a spoon or straw to gently swirl the slushes together in a circular motion to create a marbled, swirled effect.

Serve

  • Serve immediately with a wide straw or spoon.
  • Garnish with a wedge of pineapple, a fresh strawberry, or a colorful cocktail umbrella for a festive look.

Notes

Use a high-powered blender for best results. Lower-powered ones may require more liquid or scraping down.

Swirl gently—overmixing will muddy the colors.

Prep slushes ahead of time and freeze separately to assemble later.
