Juicy steak bites in garlic butter sauce served with creamy Parmesan shells—an easy yet indulgent dinner that’s full of flavor and comfort.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Creamy Parmesan Shells

  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Season the Steak

Pat the steak pieces dry using paper towels.

Season generously with salt and black pepper, ensuring each piece is coated.

Sear the Steak

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

When hot, add the steak bites in a single layer.

Sear for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides.

Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Make Garlic Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

Add 4 tablespoons butter and allow it to melt.

Stir in 4 cloves of minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary.

Cook for about 1 minute, until the garlic becomes fragrant.

Return Steak to Pan

Add the seared steak bites back into the skillet.

Stir well to coat all pieces in the garlic herb butter.

Cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until the steak reaches desired doneness.

Remove from heat and keep warm.

For the Creamy Parmesan Shells

Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add 8 oz pasta shells and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.

Drain and set aside.

Start the Sauce

In a clean skillet or saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat.

Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Melt the Cheese

Gradually add 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly.

Continue stirring until cheese is fully melted and sauce is smooth.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Finish the Pasta

Add the cooked pasta shells to the sauce.

Toss gently to coat all the shells evenly.

Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes to thicken and warm through.

To Serve

Plate the Dish

Spoon the creamy Parmesan shells onto serving plates or bowls.

Top each portion with a generous scoop of garlic butter steak bites.

Drizzle any remaining butter sauce over the top.

Garnish

Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley (optional) for color and a fresh finish.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the pan is hot before searing steak for the best caramelization.

Use freshly grated Parmesan—pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as smoothly.

Adjust steak doneness with a meat thermometer: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium.
