Description
This frozen peach lemonade is a refreshing slushie made with real fruit and lemon juice—sweet, tangy, and perfect for summer sipping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peach slices
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- ½ cup cold water (plus more as needed for blending)
- Lemon slices and peach wedges (optional, for garnish)
- Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Ingredients
Juice your lemons to get ½ cup of fresh lemon juice. This usually takes about 2 to 3 lemons.
Measure out 2 cups of frozen peach slices and 1 cup of ice cubes.
Have cold water, sweetener (honey or maple syrup), and garnishes ready.
Step 2: Add to Blender
In a high-speed blender, combine the following:
2 cups frozen peaches
½ cup lemon juice
¼ cup honey or maple syrup
1 cup ice cubes
½ cup cold water
Step 3: Blend into a Slush
Blend the mixture on high speed until the consistency is thick, icy, and slushy.
Stop to scrape down the sides if needed.
Add a splash more water if the mixture is too thick or isn’t blending smoothly.
Step 4: Taste and Adjust
Taste the slush. If it’s too tart, add a little more sweetener.
If it’s too thick or intense, blend in a bit more water or a couple extra ice cubes.
Step 5: Serve Immediately
Pour the frozen peach lemonade into chilled glasses.
Garnish each glass with a lemon slice, peach wedge, and fresh mint leaves for a beautiful, café-style finish.
Notes
Make sure to blend in bursts rather than all at once—this helps maintain the slush texture without over-melting.
For a smoother finish, use a high-speed blender or smoothie maker.
