Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup refrigerated sour cream French Onion Dip
- 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 (2.8-oz) can French fried onions
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix Casserole Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chopped chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, French Onion sour cream dip, and cream of chicken soup. Stir until everything is fully incorporated and creamy.
Assemble in Baking Dish:
Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to evenly spread it out to the edges of the pan.
Add Fried Onions:
Open the can of French fried onions and sprinkle the entire amount evenly over the top of the chicken mixture.
Bake:
Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly around the edges and the fried onions are golden brown.
Notes
Can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
Freeze unbaked or baked casseroles depending on your needs.
