  • Author: Emily

  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Succulent baked shrimp tossed in garlic, spices, and Parmesan, baked to perfection in just 15 minutes. Easy, keto, and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425ºF. This high heat ensures the shrimp cook quickly and stay juicy.

Step 2: Prepare the Shrimp

Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a 9×13-inch glass or ceramic baking dish. Spread them out in a single, even layer to ensure even cooking.

Step 3: Season the Shrimp

Drizzle the shrimp with olive oil.
Sprinkle the minced garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper over the top.
Toss gently right in the dish to coat the shrimp evenly with the seasoning and oil. Then, redistribute the shrimp into a single layer again.

Step 4: Add the Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly across the shrimp, ensuring each piece gets a nice coating.

Step 5: Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 7 minutes, or until the shrimp are bright pink and opaque.

Step 6: Broil for a Golden Finish

Turn on the broiler and broil for 1–2 minutes, just until the cheese begins to turn golden brown and slightly crisp on top.

Step 7: Serve

Remove from oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh, zesty finish.

Notes

  • This dish works best when shrimp are spread in a single layer and not crowded.
  • If you prefer more spice, increase the red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Use a ceramic or glass baking dish for even heat distribution.
