Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
- 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray (for greasing)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with olive oil or cooking spray.
Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a medium mixing bowl, combine:
1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
Shape the Chips
Use a spoon to scoop small mounds (about 1 tbsp each) onto the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten each scoop gently with the back of the spoon to form thin, round discs about 2 inches wide.
Leave space between chips to allow them to crisp properly.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
Keep a close eye after 15 minutes to avoid over-browning.
Cool and Serve
Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5–10 minutes to firm up.
Serve warm or at room temperature, plain or with your favorite dip.
Notes
Chips will crisp more as they cool—don’t rush the resting step.
Avoid overloading the baking sheet—space helps air circulate for even baking.
Use curd-style cottage cheese, not whipped, for better texture.
