Description

Warm, gooey Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites ready in 20 minutes! A quick, delicious breakfast perfect for weekends, brunch, or busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for serving)
  • Maple syrup or icing from the cinnamon rolls (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls

Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and set the icing packet aside for later.

Cut each cinnamon roll into bite-sized pieces (about four pieces per roll).

Step 2: Make the Egg Mixture

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth and fully combined.

Step 3: Coat the Bites

Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, turning to coat all sides evenly.

Step 4: Cook the Bites

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Place the coated bites into the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, turning until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5: Serve

Transfer the cooked bites to a serving platter.

Drizzle with the reserved icing or maple syrup, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Keep finished bites warm in the oven on low heat if cooking in batches.
  • Works with homemade cinnamon rolls too.
