Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

  • Author: Emily

Description

Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad is a fresh, filling dish with pasta, chicken, romaine, and Caesar dressing—perfect for meals, potlucks, or prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (rotini, penne, or bowtie work best)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup croutons (because crunch is non-negotiable)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (the real stuff, not the sawdust-like powder)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (halved, for a pop of color)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste, unless you enjoy bland food)

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Toss the pasta with Caesar dressing in a large bowl. Don’t be shy—coat every noodle.

Add the chicken, romaine, cherry tomatoes, and half the Parmesan.

Mix gently unless you enjoy mushy lettuce.

Top with croutons and the remaining Parmesan. Because presentation matters, even if it’s just for you.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Or don’t.

We’re not the food police.

Notes

Even the simplest recipes can go wrong. Here’s how to dodge disaster:

Overcooking the pasta.

Mushy noodles ruin everything. Aim for al dente.

Drowning it in dressing. Start with less—you can always add more.

Adding croutons too early.

They’ll turn into sad, soggy bread cubes.

Skipping the salt. Pasta needs seasoning. Don’t blame us if it tastes like cardboard.
