Description

Easy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps with Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and cream cheese, wrapped in flaky crescent rolls. A creamy, delicious, and quick meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halve
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter, or as needed

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2: Cook and Shred the Chicken

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a large pot and cover with water.

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.

  3. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  4. Remove the chicken from the water and let it cool slightly.

  5. Shred the chicken using two forks.

Step 3: Make the Cheesy Filling

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, salt, and pepper.

  2. Stir in the shredded chicken, making sure it is well coated with the creamy cheese mixture.

Step 4: Assemble the Wraps

  1. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

  2. Lay each triangle flat on a clean work surface.

  3. Spread a generous amount of the chicken-cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll.

  4. Roll the dough gently from the wide end to the tip, forming a crescent shape.

  5. Place the assembled wraps seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5: Bake

  1. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden, crispy finish.

  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

 

  1. Remove from the oven and let the wraps cool slightly before serving.

  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Be careful not to overfill the crescent rolls to prevent them from bursting while baking.
