  • Author: Emily

Description

Crispy, garlicky air fryer potatoes made with baby potatoes and simple spices—ready in under 20 minutes, no oven required!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
  • Optional garnish: grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Potatoes Wash and dry the baby potatoes. Cut them into halves (or quarters if large) to ensure even cooking.

Step 2: Season Place potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, pepper, and optional minced garlic. Toss until all pieces are evenly coated.

Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. This helps achieve an extra-crispy texture.

Step 4: Air Fry Add the seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping. Potatoes should be golden brown and fork-tender.

Step 5: Final Touches Once cooked, transfer potatoes to a bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Minced garlic can be added for stronger garlic flavor, but watch for burning.

No air fryer? Bake in a 425°F (220°C) oven for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway.
